In fact sleeping a few extra hours can yield positive results and change in the body of a person within three weeks.
Sleep apnea is a very common condition among children and adults. Most people live with Sleep Apnea but are not aware of the sleep condition where one has pauses between sleeping hours which last for a second or a minute. Individuals who are suffering from the condition should seek medical attention because it can be treated. Lack of sufficient sleep can lead to various problems with several symptoms such as:
- Wrinkles: During the night when one is asleep, collagen is produced, a protein that gives the skin its elasticity. Collagen is well-known for making the skin less wrinkled and less saggy.
- Dull Complexion: Having adequate sleep enables the skin to glow because blood flows well when one is asleep.
- Hair Loss: According to several medical experts, the flow of blood decreases in the absence of sleep which leads to the hair follicles not getting enough nourishment, hence hair loss.
